How Travel On Demand handles personal information submitted through this site.
1. Information We Collect
The information we ask for consists mainly of what is needed to provide our services — your name, email address, telephone number, address, company or organisation and the details of the arrangement. We may ask further questions in order to provide the service requested; apart from the minimum required items, providing that information is at your discretion.
2. Purpose of Use
In addition to using your personal information to make travel arrangements, we may use it in operations relating to the products and services handled by us or by companies within the Tokyo Bus Group, and may use it as the basis for providing you with information about those products and services.
3. Sharing with Partners
Depending on the type of service, we may pass your information to third parties where this is necessary to fulfil the arrangement — for example, informing an inn or hotel of a traveller's name for an overnight stay. We may also cooperate in disclosing personal information where materials are requested by the police in the course of an investigation following an accident, or at the request of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or other public agencies.
4. Management of Information
We appoint a security manager in each department that handles personal information. To keep your information secure we have established an information security policy and conduct regular staff training and audits. We comply with the laws and standards that apply to personal information, and review and improve these practices as needed.
5. Disclosure, Correction and Suspension of Use
If you wish to request disclosure, correction or suspension of use of your personal information, please contact the desk below. We will respond promptly after confirming that the request comes from you. If the information we hold is inaccurate we will amend it, and if you do not wish to receive direct mail or email from us or from companies within our Group we will stop sending it.
