Thank you for choosing us. To rigorously protect the information you provide to us through our contact centre, branch offices and websites, the Tokyo Bus Group observes the following practices.

Our commitments on protecting customer information

1. The Group manages your personal information appropriately. 2. The Group appoints a security manager in each department that handles personal information, and requires that manager to administer it appropriately. 3. The information we ask you for consists mainly of the personal information needed to provide our services, such as your name, email address, telephone number and address. We may ask further questions in order to provide the service you have requested; apart from the minimum required items, providing that information is entirely at your discretion. 4. Please note in advance that, depending on the type of service, the Group may pass your personal information to third parties — for example, informing an inn or hotel of your name for an overnight stay. 5. To keep your personal information secure, the Group has established an information security policy and conducts regular staff training and audits on the protection of personal information. 6. If you wish to review or correct your own personal information, we will respond within reasonable limits after confirming your identity. The Group complies with the laws and standards applicable to your personal information, and reviews and improves the practices above as needed. We may also cooperate in disclosing personal information where materials are requested by the police in the course of an investigation following an accident, or at the request of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or other public agencies.

Purposes of use

In addition to using your personal information to make travel arrangements, we may use it in operations relating to the products and services handled by us or by companies within our Group, and may use it as the basis for providing you with information about those products and services.

Disclosure, correction and suspension of use

1. Requests for disclosure, correction or suspension of use If you wish to request disclosure, correction or suspension of use of your personal information, please contact the enquiry desk below. We will respond promptly after confirming that the request comes from you. (1) Correction If the personal information we hold is inaccurate, we will amend it. (2) Suspension of use If you do not wish to receive direct mail or email from us or from companies within our Group, we will stop sending it.
